Bishops Corner
Bishop Watts accepted Jesus Christ as his savior in 1982 at the age of 19 years old, and was ordained in the ministry in 1987. He served as Youth Minister and Young Adult Sunday School Teacher for the Straight Life Churches of God Pentecostal. He also started and coached the youth Basketball Program. Pastor Watts held those positions until 1992, at which time he resigned to follow the call of God to a higher position. From 1993 until 2002, Pastor Watts served as Associate Pastor here at the Tabernacle. On September 22, 2002, he was appointed Pastor and General Overseer over this local assembly.

Pastor Watts was ordained as Bishop on May 31, 2015 and is currently our Senior Pastor here at the Tabernacle. His Professional experience includes 32 years as an Employee, Administrator and Manager for the Fulton County School System. He is a licensed Realtor and President of J.B. Watts Enterprises LLC. He also served as a Board Member for the Fulton Schools Chartable Fund and Fulton Schools Pension Board.
His educational background includes requirements for a Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies. He has earned a two-year Master’s Certificate in Business Management from Georgia Tech University Mid Management Program and a Certificate in Accounting and Administration from the University of Wisconsin American Management Institute.
Bishop Watts is married to Lady Brenda Watts. They have three children, Brandon, Shanika, and Taleisha, and six grandchildren; Bryson, Landon, Peyton, Ayden, Jordynn, Taylor, and Tristan. God has given Bishop Watts the gift to teach and preach his word to the glory of God.
